Launched in 2009, The Edinburgh Larder Cafe has built a solid reputation as being the place to eat seasonal, locally sourced and tasty food in the heart of the city. It’s also developed a regular following of people who love a good Sunday brunch.
Start your day with a range of healthy options such as our homemade granola, porridge cooked to order with a selection of toppings, or wedges of toast with homemade jam. You can also set yourself up with something heartier including a full breakfast, scrambled eggs with salmon, bacon or sausage and lots of other tasty treats. We make our coffee with love and care using beans roasted in Edinburgh by Artisan Roast and our teas are blended here in Scotland by Edinburgh based Eteaket.
If you’re after something sweet, our delicious cakes are made on site by our staff who all love to bake. Our dark chocolate and nut brownies are regularly hailed as the best in town and are always gluten free – made using the finest dark chocolate and ground almonds. Our delicious light scones have also won many accolades and are served with clotted cream and homemade jam.
Eat in or take away daily specials such as homemade soups, frittatas, quiches and pies together with our menu of locally sourced deli plates, salads, sandwiches made with artisan bread, Scottish cheeses, Arran smoked fish, and Lanarkshire cooked meats. Wash down your meal with one of our local craft beers from Stewarts Brewery or Falkirk Tryst.
The Edinburgh Larder Cafe can be hired as a private venue – contact us to find out more.
